Program description
The Early Childhood Education program is a technical program designed to train students to provide basic education and care to children aged 0 to 12. Its aim is to create and maintain a meaningful relationship that supports the children's psychomotor, physical, cognitive, linguistic, socio-emotional, and moral development. These educators also play a role in developing, organizing, directing, facilitating, and evaluating educational activities that promote the child's overall development.
Early childhood educators must establish a partnership between parents and all other stakeholders in the child's life. They must ensure a healthy and safe environment and that all interventions with students are conducted collaboratively and consultatively. Therefore, early childhood educators must be team players.
