Have you ever thought about sharing your passions and interests with the world through your own YouTube channel? Are there stories around you that you've always wanted to capture through audio and video? Launching yourself as a modern-day documentary filmmaker and learning the ins and outs of YouTube has never been easier.
In YouTube and the Modern Documentarian, award-winning filmmaker Chris Bavota will spend 10 weeks giving students an intensive course on everything they need to create short interviews and video content for social media. Students will learn the concepts and techniques involved in shooting engaging interviews, building an online presence through social media platforms, and using video as a marketing and self-promotion tool.
At the end of this course, students will be well-equipped to create engaging content for their YouTube channel and take it to the next level.

This is a beginner-level course and is well-suited for anyone interested in creating and documenting YouTube content.

Laptop or access to a computer, a camera, or a mobile phone with a camera.

- A laptop/desktop computer equipped with a single-core processor (processing speed of at least 1 GHz) or a smartphone/tablet with equivalent processing capabilities
- Good speakers/headphones for listening to lectures
