Student insurance

Cestar College, LaSalle Campus ensures that all full-time, part-time and internship international students are automatically enrolled in a mandatory health insurance plan provided by a third-party provider, Insurance Agency Group Inc.


International students at Cestar College, LaSalle Campus are not permitted to opt out of medical insurance, but they are free to purchase additional, more comprehensive coverage from other insurance providers if they wish.


Note

  • Coverage is for enrolled students of Cestar College, LaSalle Campus – it does not extend to spouses or children. Spouses and/or children can be added to your coverage for an additional fee.
  • JF Platinum student insurance is not intended to replace the coverage provided by the Régie de l'assurance maladie (RAMQ) for yourself or any member of your family.
  • The JF group policy is designed to cover emergency healthcare during your studies and includes only a basic package that can be modified annually. Not all conditions are covered, and prospective international students are strongly encouraged to review the coverage details before arriving in Canada. This will give you time to purchase additional coverage before leaving your home country, if needed.
  • Cestar College, LaSalle Campus is not responsible for the costs of any health services received or sought by the student.
