Course Description
Babysitting is a responsible and important job, as it involves the care and supervision of young
children. In this course, we will cover the essentials of babysitting, including child development,
safety, and basic care giving skills.
Note: The class includes a CPR certification. The cost of certification as well as the textbook are already included in the price of this course.

Course Prerequisites and Admission
This is a beginner level course and is well suited for anybody interested babysitting skills. Can lead to a babysitting carrier or aid educator in childcare centers.
Required Materials
Course handbook or manual - a comprehensive guide that covers all the topics covered in the course, including child development, safety, basic caregiving skills, child behavior management, communication with parents, and emergency response.
Textbook or reference materials - additional resources that provide in-depth information on the various topics covered in the course.
Worksheets and exercises - practical assignments and activities that help students apply the concepts they have learned.
Audio-visual aids - such as slideshows, videos, and animations to supplement the lecture and make the course more engaging and interactive.
First aid kit - a basic first aid kit for hands-on demonstrations and practice of first aid techniques.
Simulation props and equipment - such as baby dolls, car seats, and other items that can be used to demonstrate care giving and safety techniques.
Online resources - such as websites and online forums that provide additional information and support for students.
It is also recommended that students have access to a computer or device with an internet connection to access online resources and complete course assignments.

Minimum Requirements
- A strong uninterrupted broadband wired or wireless (3G or 4G/LTE) connection with a minimum 600kbps bandwidth (up/down).
- A Laptop/Desktop computer equipped with a single core processor (at least 1 GHZ processing speed) or a smartphone/tablet with equivalent processing capabilities
- Good speakers/earphones to listen to the classes
- Browser - IE7+, Safari 5+, Firefox, Chrome
- Operating System - Windows XP, Mac OS 10.6, Linux distro based on 3.0 kernel, Android 5.0, iOS 10
Cestar Recommendations
- A strong uninterrupted broadband wired or wireless (3G or 4G/LTE) connection with a minimum 1.5Mbps bandwidth (up/down). You can also connect to the internet directly using your ethernet cable to improve your experience.
- Laptop/Desktop computer equipped with a dual core processor with at least 2 GHZ processing speed and a 4 GB RAM
- High Quality speakers/earphones to listen to the classes
- Browser & Operating System - We recommend using the latest version of the browser and operating system for an optimal online classroom experience.
