Program Description

Project management teams are indispensable throughout many fields including communications and technology. Private and public enterprises alike need brokers, representatives and supervisors to see projects through to completion.

The program Project Management in Graphic Communications Techniques gives students the opportunity to develop extensive knowledge of all aspects of successful project management. In addition, this program is essential to those who wish to become more efficient workers and invaluable team members.

Program Details

Completion of this program leads to an Attestation of collegial studies (AEC).

The AEC diploma is a qualification awarded in Quebec by CEGEPs and some private colleges following successful completion of a programme authorised by the Ministry of Higher Education, created specifically for an adult clientele and reflecting the current realities of the labour market.

 

Course Duration: 1335 hours

Internship: 210 hours

Admission Requirements

Canadian Students

You are eligible to apply for this program if you satisfy the education requirements of the college and you meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • You have interrupted your full-time studies or pursued full-time post-secondary education for at least two (2) consecutive semesters or a school year
  • You are covered by an agreement concluded between the college and an employer, or you benefit from a government program
  • You have interrupted your full-time studies for one (1) semester and have continued your full-time postsecondary studies for one semester
  • You have a Diploma of Secondary Studies (DES)

 

International Students

You are eligible to apply for this program if you satisfy the education requirements of the college and you meet all of the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent
  • IELTS 6.5 overall score with no band score less than 5.5 in one module OR IELTS 6.0 overall score with no band score less than 6.0 or Duolingo* testing score 105-110
  • Language Requirements: a minimum TOEFL score of 79 (internet based with no single band score below 20), or PTE Academic: a minimum score of 53 - Post Secondary Programs
  • Must have scored at least 55% in core subjects related to the program of study
  • One (1) year of work experience

 

Fast Track

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent
  • IELTS 6.5 overall score with no band score less than 5.5 in one module OR IELTS 6.0 overall score with no band score less than 6.0 or Duolingo* testing score 125-130
  • Language Requirements: a minimum TOEFL score of 88 (internet based with no single band score below 20), or PTE Academic: a minimum score of 59 - Post Graduate/Fast Track Programs
  • Must have scored at least 55% in core subjects related to the program of study
  • One (1) year of work experience

*Duolingo testing has been put in place to address the closures of IELTS testing centers and to promote safe social distancing for our prospective students

Technical Requirements

Starting with Fall 2024, Cestar Collège is implementing a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policy.

Here are the minimum suggested technical requirements for laptops at Cestar Collège: 

The College has established that a Windows-based PC is required. Apple or Chromebook devices are not suitable for Cestar Collège programs.  The College provides registered students with wireless Internet access and access to O365 software downloads.
