An AEC in Multimedia Integration Techniques can be particularly interesting for those who would like to diversify their skills and adapt them to different niches of the multimedia industry. This program gives students basic knowledge of graphic design, information research, programming techniques, video and audio production, 2D and 3D animation, methods of analysis and quality control.
Some niches of the industry include enterprises that create video games, special effects for cinema, graphic and visual arts, and animation. The multimedia integrator’s main responsibility is to assemble all content elements (text, images, animations, video, audio…) of multimedia applications."
Completion of this program leads to an Attestation of collegial studies (AEC).
The AEC diploma is a qualification awarded in Quebec by CEGEPs and some private colleges following successful completion of a programme authorised by the Ministry of Higher Education, created specifically for an adult clientele and reflecting the current realities of the labour market.
