A TEF preparation course enables you to familiarize yourself with the test format, improve your skills in the specific areas assessed (listening comprehension, written expression, etc.), and give you all the keys to success on exam day.
Yes, the course is suitable for all levels, but it is particularly useful for those who already have a solid grounding in French (level B1 to B2). The program is designed to strengthen your skills in the target areas of the TEF and help you achieve the score you want.
The duration of the course depends on your initial level and the intensity of the program. The summer group course lasts 20 h for complete preparation, with weekly sessions or intensive courses.
You can take the TEF immediately after completing the preparation course, depending on the dates available in your area. TEF Cestar Collège offers several TEF Canada and TEFAQ sessions at the Lasalle campus.

Success on the exam depends on the learner's level of French and the work done between courses. While we can't guarantee that you'll get the score you want on your certificate, we do guarantee that you'll be familiar with the flow and structure of the test. You'll also have had the opportunity to practice each section of the test, so you'll be well prepared and able to approach the test with confidence.
