The English A1 course is designed for beginners or those with very little prior knowledge of the language. The course will enable the learners to focus on basic vocabulary, simple sentence structures, and everyday phrases needed for simple interactions. Places available! - Register Now!

Note:
40 hours allow you to make significant progress in a level, especially with good personal commitment. However, according to the recommendations of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), on average you need:
A1: approximately 100 to 120 hours
This means that in 40 hours, you can lay a good foundation or consolidate your knowledge, but completing a level entirely will often require more time and practice, particularly through independent exercises and regular exposure to the language.
You can renew your sessions in blocks of 20 hours.

The A1 course is designed for adult beginners who wish to learn a new language for personal or professional reasons. No previous knowledge is required.
All our language courses are designed according to the standards of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), an international system that defines six levels of language proficiency ranging from A1 (beginner) to C2 (mastery).

In this course, you'll learn to communicate in simple situations: introducing yourself, talking about your work, asking basic questions, understanding short oral and written sentences, using common verbs, articles, adjectives and more.
The Summer English course - Level A1 take place over 40 hours, one to two hours per week, according to the schedule determined for each level, in group sessions and by distance learning. Courses are offered on Teams and take place on Montreal time (Eastern Daylight Time (EDT or UTC-4h)).
